1. Why is the school mandating uniforms with the Wellspring logo?
Uniforms are required this year with the official NYCMC Wellspring Schools logo to:
Promote school pride and unity – Students feel a stronger connection and belonging to Wellspring when they wear the logo daily.
Ensure professionalism – A logoed uniform reflects Wellspring’s values and standards, setting a tone of excellence in both learning and conduct.
Support safety and identification – The logo makes it easy to recognize Wellspring students both on campus and during off-site activities.
Strengthen school identity – Different colors by grade level highlight each division while still showing one unified Wellspring community.
Uniform Colors by Grade Level & Their Meaning
Yellow (Elementary K–5): Bright and cheerful, symbolizing energy, optimism, and the joy of learning in early childhood.
Forest Green (Middle School 6–8): Represents growth, balance, and maturity — reflecting the transition years of middle school.
Dark Grey (High School 9–12): Chosen for its modern, professional look, symbolizing responsibility, seriousness, and readiness for higher education and adult life.
2. What are the available uniform items and their prices?

3. Do students have to wear the logo polo at all times?
Yes. All students are required to wear the official Wellspring Schools logo polo as part of their daily uniform. This ensures a unified look across the school and reflects our identity and values.
4. How do I place an order?
You can order at NYCMCwellspring.org/uniforms
Please order separately per child. You can select the desired item from the dropdown list in the form, choose the quantity, and add additional items (Additional Item 1, Additional Item 2, etc.) as needed. If you experience issues with the ordering link, please contact the school office at 718-751-9292 for assistance.
5. Can I order multiple items at once?
Yes. After choosing one item (e.g., Polo Shirt), you can add another (e.g., Khaki Pants) by selecting Additional Item in the form. Each item must be selected separately with its own quantity.
6. Can I buy the uniform onsite?
No. Uniforms are available only through the official online order form.
This ensures:
- Accurate tracking of orders and sizes.
- Consistency in logo placement and quality.
Parents should place orders online in advance; uniforms will not be sold directly at the school office.
7. Which items are specific to boys and girls?
- Boys: Polo shirts (short or long sleeve) with Khaki pants.
- Elementary girls: Polo Dresses (short or long sleeve) with Khaki pants.
- Middle & High School girls: Abaya (with hijab, see below).
8. Does the school sell hijabs?
No. The school does not sell hijabs as part of the uniform package.
Requirement: Hijab is mandatory starting in Middle School.
Color: Students may wear hijabs of any modest color. While there is no required shade, parents are encouraged to choose neutral or solid colors that coordinate well with the school uniform.
9. Is there a minimum order requirement?
No, but parents are encouraged to order at least 2–3 sets per child to ensure they have enough for the week.
10. When will I receive the uniforms?
Uniform pick-up dates will be announced by the school office. Parents will be notified once orders are ready.
11. How do I know which size to order?
Size options will be available in the order form. If you’re unsure, please check with the school office before placing your order.
12. What if the uniform I ordered doesn’t fit? Can it be exchanged?
Yes. If your item does not fit, please contact the school office within 7 days of receiving it to arrange an exchange. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition.
Returns: Not accepted once worn. Refunds are only provided in case of product defects.
13. Are the pants unisex?
Yes, Khaki Pants are unisex and can be worn by both male and female students.
14. Can students wear a plain polo instead of the logo polo?
No. Only the official logo polo purchased through our approved vendor is permitted. Plain or non-logo polos, even if they are the same color, are not part of the uniform.
15. Can elementary school girls wear abayas instead of the uniform?
Abayas are not part of the daily elementary uniform. Exceptions may be made for special events or occasions as announced by the school. An Exception is made for 5th grade girls where they do have the option to wear the abaya.

17. If my uniform does not arrive in time, what should my child wear on the first day of school and until I get the uniform?
Students can wear their previous school uniform or any formal clothes.
18. Will hoodies and gym uniforms be available?
Not at this time. However, the school is exploring the possibility of offering Wellspring hoodies and gym uniforms in the near future. Parents will be notified once these items are finalized and available for purchase.
